The programming, coaching and members are all so wonderful! I would highly recommend Impact to anyone looking for strength training, all the coaches are so knowledgeable and always happy to help modify and correct form as needed! I never feel like I am off doing exercises by myself and never worry about injuring myself by doing an exercise wrong.

I am 66 years old and relatively healthy. I have been going to Impact Metrowest for personal training three times a week for the past 18 months. I was never one to go to the gym to work out, but played various sports including tennis several times a week. I also was diagnosed with torn rotator cuff in my non-dominant arm just before I started at Impact. At first, I hated working out and the hour-long session seemed like it lasted forever. Despite that, after about 3-6 months my shoulder started feeling better, my strength improved greatly and was especially apparent in my tennis game. I was able to hit all shots with more power, especially my serve. While I still can't say I love working out, I am religious about going to my personal training sessions three times a week and now the hour flies by. I can't say enough about Peter and Zach, both of whom have trained me, as well as the rest of staff. They pay such close attention to my personal physical issues and tailor my workouts to how my body is feeling that day and any injuries I may have from tennis. They are always trying to balance my strength on both sides of my body, which has helped with balance and my overall tennis game. Moreover, they are very personable which help the time go by during the workout. I could not recommend Impact more highly.

I've been going to Impact Metrowest for about 4 months, and it's been one of the best investments I've made in myself. I was looking for a new strength training gym and was actually leaning toward joining a CrossFit gym when I stumbled across Impact. Looking back, I'm so glad I did. The focus on functional strength training has already helped me become more athletic. I'm stronger, move better, and honestly just feel better overall. One thing that's really stood out is the coaching. They've helped me break a lot of bad habits I picked up from years of other group fitness classes. The coaches pay attention to each member, correct form, and listen to how you're feeling during movements. That level of individual attention is hard to find and has made a huge difference in my progress. I class schedule has helped me stay consistent—it's easy to fit a workout in, even on busy days. The community is another big reason I enjoy coming here. Everyone has a great attitude and is focused on improving themselves, which creates a really positive environment. Highly recommend Impact Metrowest to anyone looking to get stronger, move better, and train with great coaches.

I joined Impact Metrowest four months ago after my husband, who had been going there and highly recommended it. Before joining, I had never trained with weights and had many concerns about whether it would be the right fit for me. Very quickly, I realized I had found a safe and supportive environment. The coaching team is incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They carefully guide every movement and always offer modifications and adjustments based on each person’s needs during group classes. Beyond their professionalism, what really stands out is the personal approach. Every class, they make the effort to greet everyone individually, check how people are doing, and ask about any injuries or adjustments needed. The coaches are always welcoming, smiling, and ready to answer any questions. I originally thought that attending twice a week would be enough for me, but I quickly found myself going four times a week. It became much more than just a gym. It naturally became part of my routine and helped me become healthier and stronger, both physically and mentally. Thank you Coach Tiff, Greg, Zach, and Peter for creating such a unique and supportive place.

I’ve been working out at Impact since July 2025. The coaches here are truly passionate about their work, and I am feeling more energetic and moving so much better since I started strength training here. The coaches are all really supportive and work closely with you to get your best workout and helping you come up with strategies for better nutrition and staying balanced. Love this gym!!

Fantastic training with Greg Cantor today! I had to be away from it for a couple of weeks, but with Greg's patient guidance, I am back in the swing of it! Thanks!

Great coaches, great community! - Great communication - Easy to schedule, wide availability throughout the day to fit different needs - I was able to tailor the training to myself even in group training sessions. I felt my aches in neck/shoulders and strength have all improved substantially over the first month of joining - As a physician, I do generally recommend everyone to start strength training earlier before decrease in muscle mass/strength hits. It puts you in a better place to age well and is therefore worth the investment. I'm glad I got started!

Training at IMPACT has helped me continue running, hiking, and skiing without nagging aches and pains. I’ve enjoyed personal training and learned so much about building muscle the right way. I’d recommend anyone looking for a personal trainer to speak with the team at impact metrowest, they will take the time to listen to all of your history/concerns and make you feel comfortable.

I came to Impact 9 months ago hoping for a simple miracle. I had tried everything for my lower back pain — PT, yoga, Pilates, massage therapy, acupuncture, and more — but nothing truly worked. At the same time, I wanted to feel amazing in a bathing suit for vacation, and I realized losing weight alone was not enough. I wanted to be strong, toned, pain-free, and confident. Coach Greg, Coach Zach, and Coach Tiff helped me get there. They created a plan that helped me move better, get stronger, and finally start living with less pain. The coaching, support, and accountability at Impact have been incredible. Now I feel stronger than ever, my confidence is through the roof, and my body feels better than it has in years. If you’re over 40 and want to get strong while getting rid of aches and pains, Impact is the place.

Coach Peter has built an incredible team at Impact. He and every one of the coaches is VERY knowledgeable about musculoskeletal systems and necessary adjustments for those lingering injuries that we all have. The class schedule is great, whether you wanna be a morning or evening workout person it doesn't matter, there's a class that will fit your needs. The coaches will absolutely give feedback and corrections so you can be confident that you're safe and getting stronger without making imbalances worse. The small classes become a community, you see the same 7 or 8 people every day and it's really a blast. Just go. Just do the free assessment and you'll understand. Whether you have been active all your life or are wanting to start exercising for the first time, Impact will meet you where you are and help you get better, whatever better looks like for you.
